Is this supposed to be an '09 release? this years shaping up pretty good, going to be hard to decide what to buy
i loved the first one too, single player was average but multiplayer is awesome
Definitely COD2 modern warfare will easily be the best selling franchise of '09. It'll be huge on both systems, i can't wait to see what they do to the the multiplayer. I'll be buying both KZ2 and CODMF2 but i'm thinking COD will eat up most of my time
Exactly! Some ppl on here have serious issues with self esteem if they cant handle some virtual T-Bagging, maybe they need a virtual lets hold hands and sing Koom bi ah for these ppl
It does seem unfair to the consumer if the reviewer must follow "rules" for the privilege of reviewing the game.
Remember when Halo 3 was coming out and all the major review sites had there reviewers sent to Bungie headquarters for a 3 day hands on review with the developers. I remember thinking how stupid that was, of course their going to give the game a favorable review you just wined and dined em for 3 days. That to me was unfair, rules seems the same way
I cant see the big deal, its all in fun, Alot of time in FPS there's one guy who always seems to pown u---nothing beats sneaking up, shooting and teabaggin the bugger. i guarantee he/she is laughing too lol

No i don't think the PS3 is, it is actually selling quite well. Slow and steady but certainly in a position where it's getting lots of 3rd party support. I think has been and will continue to be successful.

This might turn out to be a good game, i absolutely hated the demo myself but maybe it just takes some getting used to the controls/
plus an 18hr campaign that's twice what most single player games are giving us now . I think its too early to judge from what most would agree is a disappointing demo

That my first thought too MAG, i bought a PS3 this week and that was one of the reasons, 256 ppl multiplayer but its almost impossible to find details on the damn game lol
Looks sharper on the 360, details are clearer, likely for most part multi's are probably easier to fine tune on the 360. so the two will be comparable but i think the 360 is more multi friendly.

Yea I'm not sure MS's strategy here, are they waiting for after KZ2 releases and the hype goes down to announce some new exclusives or are they arrogant? Ive been 360 exclusive supporter since launch but i just got a PS3 coming this week. I'd like to see the 360 be successful but all i hear is Halo and I'm starting to think that MS just doesn't get. New buyers will likely be one over by exclusives, they need to provide some excitement for all 360 owners- 2 outta 3 didn't buy halo
I'm a 360 owner, wouldn't mind a PS3. If Sony were smarter they could market the $399 price better and not have to drop it tho really. They need to inform new consumers better, mention that the $299 also needs $60 live account plus the wireless adapter @ $100 --that's how u increase new sales =$460
But if it's the existing 360 owners they want than yea they have to go for a price drop or throw in a game @ $399. ppl are itching to buy but they know/think a deal is coming
Yea and COD5 wont be near as big as COD Modern Warfare 2, that will prob be too big a hurdle for ODST, plus ODST is a short expansion, 5 hrs prob at most. hard to get pumped up for ODST
don't forget they also had to remove Franks camera all things related to it as well
it just looks terrible, but cant blame capcom for cashing in on it, they basically turned an awesome game into shovelware
